Day 2

After arriving in Clearfield late last night around 11:30, we got up at 5:30 this morning and headed for Wallkill.  We drove for 5 hours in dense, fog covered mountains and eventually arrived at Watchtower Farms around 11:45, just in time for lunch.  We were treated to ham sandwiches, corn on the cob, and potato salad for lunch, with fruit for dessert.  After, we received a quick private tour with one of Siebert's few friends, Skip.  He was able to show us private offices that house machines that test the durability of the different bound publications.  Unfortunately we are sworn to silence and cannot say anything more about the awesome publications we saw that no one else knows about.  After that brief tour we took the regular tour around the whole Bethel property.  We had an awesome 23 year old tour guide named Tony.  He really made the tour that much better with his great personality and excellent stories.  We were partnered up with a Large Mexican family that was very kind.  We were able to see all the binding rooms and printing machines and we have pictures above.  Siebert was even able to describe some of the machines and processes to the group.  Once we said our goodbyes we headed for the nice town of Fishkill, about an hour east of Wallkill.  We unfortunately were unable to get two rooms, so we are sharing a sweet.  Five smelly dudes with a smelly bathroom in a tiny area equals disaster.  After our hotel chilling, we went to an awesome but greasy Go-cart track.  We spent the big money and got 24 laps of racing!  After we wiped ourselves down with sanitation wipes, we stuffed ourselves with New York style pizza.  We then hit up Cold Stone and we were served by unkind women.  After, we rolled home to the hotel, we listened to and danced to Justin Bieber and Call me Maybe.

Fun Facts of the day:
One paper roll weights one ton
The organization saves $500,000 a year by recycling paper
18,000 Flyers from the back of Watchtowers are sent in every month for bible studies and bible teach books
