Day 4

Today was a really big day for us.  We started by eating breakfast with the family at 7, and then headed out to New York City for the day.  We were able to enjoy the Woman and the seed tour in the Metropolitan art museum in Manhattan.  Our tour guide happened to be a brother from Bethel named Daniel who has only been in New York for 6 months.  He did a really good job of explaining the difficult topics and linking all the connections together in an organized way.  One of the highlights was seeing a statue that was over 3000 years old.  Scientists believe it was created only a few years after Adam died and that it survived the flood.  It is possible that it is the first pagan sculpture ever made in the history of mankind.  After the awesome tour we headed out to tour the city.  We started it off right by getting stuck in crazy New York traffic for a good hour.  We parked near Brooklyn Bethel and then walked over the Brooklyn bridge to Manhattan.  We walked Broadway to China town and then were able to get some shopping done in Soho.  This little area of New York has to be one of the coolest.  We ate dinner at Bar 89, and then we shopped the Ugg store, J Crew, Armani, Sunglass Hut, Burberry, Prada and other awesome stores.  We saw two Ferrari's, Maserati's, Vipers, and lots of other cool cars.  We then headed over to Chelsea market and walked around and continued to shop and eat awesome food.  We finished everything off with a crazy subway ride across the city back to Brooklyn and then we had a rowdy car ride back to Paterson.  All in all it was an awesome last day and a great way to end a fabulous trip.  Tomorrow we begin the long journey back home.
