Why are we writing a blog?

This blog is meant to give you a glimpse into the Bethel life.  The five of us, Siebert, Jon, Payton, Tom and myself, will try our best to convey the thoughts and emotions that we will feel throughout the Bethel tour and our journeys around New York City.  Please keep in mind that these are our impressions of Bethel and they might be vastly different from your memories.  Throughout the following days we will try to post as much as we can.  We will include pictures and possibly some videos.  This blog might be educational to some extent, and we will try to fill it with as many fun facts as we can.  See you in New York.

Eating in macedonia

This evening we decided to turn off the toll road and explore the dinning options of the town of Macedonia. We set our sites on chick-fila, but our hopes were dashed to pieces by the singing mob. The journey began when we tried to approach the building but were blocked by a mass of almost 50 cars in the drive through. We then decided to try to enter the building, but we're unable to enter because of a chick-fila protest. There was a mob of almost 100 people singing hymns in the restaurant. We then decided to eat at chipotle except for the determined Payton who could not be swayed. He waited in line for more than an hour just to get some skimpy chicken pieces. All in all, are trip to Macedonia was a total waist of driving time.

After multiple detours to various houses for forgotten clothing, we finally got going on the road at 5. We ran into a little bit of rush hour traffic, but our trusty captain Siebert got us through it. Right now were rolling through the farm land of monroe listening to Larry the cable guy. Ohio here we come!!!!!
